Psychology Network Account Application

The Psychology Departments computing resources exist to complement the instructional and research missions at UF. Each user is obligated to use the network resources in accordance with following policies. It is your responsibility to understand these policies before signing up for a network account.

Key points of the network account agreement
Do not share your account.
You May Not Make a Profit with Your Account
Do Not Attempt to Bypass Login Restrictions (this is "computer cracking", or "hacking", and can result in serious legal consequences)
Running a Server is Not Allowed
Connecting Unauthorized Computers to the Network is Not Allowed
Copyright Software - Everyone must honor software copyright laws. Do not install any software that the Department doesn’t have proper licensing for.
When Emailing, Be Civil and Courteous to Others.


Restrictions of Use
Graduate student  accounts are only to be used for work related to the completion of an advanced degree. They are to be used ONLY by the person to whom they are issued. Misuse of Psychology computers is a felony under the State of Florida Computer crimes Act. The University of Florida Psychology Department reserves the right to delete any account that is being misused. Misuse of any computing facilities at the University of Florida will result in being alerted to the proper authorities for prosecution.
